Commission for Celtic Man, done as a gift for 
, of their two chars (gray wolf and Irish elk) and Duncan, Illahie's pet ferret...I made the knotwork and spirals orange and green to symbolize the colors of the Irish flag (since the location is in Newgrange, Ireland), and the kilt in the colors of Celtic Man's family tartan (or as close as I could approximate it, anyway). The flowers and jewelry are also symbolic of the chars. 
(And since many people have asked, I used only colored pencils--mainly Caran D'Ache--mechanical pencil and drawing pens, and the pic took me about 3 months to finish.)
Edit: I never dreamt I would get a DD on this!!

I think this might be the spiffiest anthro peice I've ever seen. yes. 'tis spiffy indeed.
the eyes are great and the fur really looks like fur (coodos). I also like the way you have the backwards knee join on the elk and all the other little details ^.^

I have one nitpick, but believe me, the picture is a masterpiece as is - my nitpick is that there is no definitive lighsource. The shadows and highlights are weak. I don't know if this was intentional, but hopefully my criticism will help with future projects.
