This part of Norway (Dovrefjell) is otherwise known as "The Hall of the Mountain King" (Troll King), where musk ox and wild reindeer roam free. The trees on the Fokstumyra moors are so short here because this is the edge of the treeline, which stops altogether a the base of these mountains (Blåho, Lesja, Svåna and Snøhetta). There is a nice little cafe and campground here called Furuhaugli which is open all year round--go and visit!
I'm just gonna comment on all the photographs you just submitted right here as a whole and say that they are just stunningly, breathtakingly beautiful and I love them all, which is really saying something because I'm not much of a photography person at all. Seriously, they're GORGEOUS.
well the name of the place has gotten my attention...do you know why it was called that?..sounds interesting to me ^_^
