There's a place in Norway called "Helvete", which literally means "Hell" because it's so very deep. But as you can see, it's quite lovely and peaceful down at the bottom.

Oh how I wish I could visit or live near a place like this. I'd have to overcome my complete dislike of bugs and being outside, but hey. This would do it.

There is beautiful land everywhere, but where I live it's just not GREEN like this. The ground here is so arid it allows lots of interesting shrubs and trees grow - but they're all shades of brown-green, never truly green like this.

That's a cool place!
Near the village where I'm from there's a similar place, a gorge called "Hitonhauta" which means something like "Devil's grave". I think it got the name for the same reason as this Helvete. :>
