*Smiles broadly* Cute, fluffy, mellow, sleepy swannies! I imagine they are quite tame at Abbotsbury... I even recall seeing a youtube clip a while back where a woman carefully picked one up and held it: It did little but paddle its feet a bit as it was lifted up, and gave the camera a nibble out of curiosity when the cameraman got close, but it showed no signs of stress or rousing.
I've been out of commission for a while now: A solid year or so of misfortune leading to poor health, little food, money, etc. to the point where I had to take a hiatus on online activity, but things seem like they are stablizing, so I might be able to regain a bit of contact with you. It seems like you've had a few rough spots as well: heres hoping things are tops for you right now and later.:>
I reeeeeeeeeally wanted to pet them, but I didn't dare to. They still had half-grown cygnets with them, and very protective, in spite of how tame they looked. Maybe after the cygnets are grown, they might be more approachable. Anyways, I'm so sorry to hear about your misfortunes, hon, but glad that you're back on your feet again...I've missed you! *hugs*
Ooooh. Cygnets. yeah, that would definately be a good idea to check yourself before giving em a pet. *hugs a salukiswan* at least I got one swanny I can give a snug though. I'll wish ya better luck on future visits
Try not to worry about me too much though: I see you have been concerned with both animals and humans lately in some of your journals... More than anything I just thought I should mention why I was gone for a while, thats all:>
Laters then! *snugs a cygnet and runs from the flock*
