If I were to reopen my old, defunct Cafepress account (or find another place similar--any suggestions?) would anyone be interested in actually buying any of my art on items there? Or if I were to make a print account here on DA, would anyone want to purchase one? I just want to know if it would be worth the time, effort and money expended on my part. Thanks in advance for your replies, if any! :)

I'd recommend redbubble.com instead, the quality is better even if they offer less items.

I'd suggest zazzle.com. I've found it to be a very versatile outlet for my creative productions. :) You have a lot more power over how your products look than on Cafe Press, and a lot more freedom as to what goes in your shop--no limit to how many of each kind of product you post, how your items are organized and displayed, etc. For example, I only have to upload each image once to put it on every different product on Zazzle, then I just move it around, scale it, rotate it, add text, etc for each individual product--I don't have to set up a dozen different images for a dozen different products like I did for Cafe.

Well, I've used Zazzle, and their shirts are poor quality compared to Cafepress (which aren't all that great either); my Zazzle shirt faded after only 2 years, while my Cafepress shirt is still wearable, only slightly faded, 7 years later. Maybe they've improved since then, I dunno, but I'm not really keen to risk it...however, Redbubble is looking like a pretty good alternative so far. :)
